JAKARTA Mutual fund shares during the last year show significant performance and recorded better than other types of mutual funds, based on the categories of technical efficiency, risk and return.
Performance results are included in the study Bisnis Indonesia Intelligence Unit (BIM), Bisnis Indonesia daily research unit, to at least 700 mutual funds and 282 linked uric issued and registered in Indonesia.
Mutual fund shares scored an average cumulative return of 54.40% and 14.79% Annualized return or the highest compared with the other.
Researchers BIIU Anton Hermansyah and Nanda Sitepu said that in line with the average a higher risk to be borne by equity fund that is visible from the average standard deviation of0.354 which is the highest value compared to other mutual funds or unitlinked.

The best equity fund that is Panin Dana Maksima, Panin Prima Fund, and Mutual Funds Grow-2- Prosper, whereas the best fixed income funds Muamalah Big Fund, Bond Fund Plus GMT, RidoDua Mutual Funds.
The best mix of mutual funds namely Semesta Maxima Fund, BNP Paribas Equitra, Brent Flexion Fund. Mutual funds are best protected Trim Leslari 2, Danamas Protected I and Mahanusa Sovereign Bond Fund.
Measuring the performance of mutual funds and unit linked using DEA calculations (technical efficiency), Treynor (risk and return based on the standard deviation), and Sharpe (risk and return based on Betha).
At the end of December 2010, the number of samples of a mutual fund that meets the three criteria mentioned above to be studied are as many as 25 equity funds, 38 fixed income funds,42 mutual funds, and 13 protected funds.
